X6-HD Heavy Duty Accelerometer

GCDC now provides a rugged weatherproof aluminum enclosure for the USB accelerometer product line. This tough case is machined of 6061-T6 aluminum and anodized to maintain corrosion resistance. The X6-HD includes the X6-2 3-axis self-recording accelerometer. Data recording is easily initiated using the external button and the two status indicator LEDs indicate system operation. The enclosure houses a 1500mAH lithium-polymer rechargeable battery providing over 3 times the normal X6-2 operating life. Data is accessible via the weatherproof mini-B USB connector (6 foot extension adapter cable included). More information is available in the HD Enclosure specification document (pdf).
